PolyNerdic Play Test: Void Bastards
0Void Bastards is a run based, first person shooter where-in you play as a dehydrated prisoner who is brought out of storage to salvage whatever you can from various derelict space ships until the "citizens" on board eventually overwhelm you and you die.
Only to have a new prisoner pulled from storage, rehydrated and do it all over again.
The game is a lot of fun when it isn't f'ing you over with the occasional horrible combination of random elements (power is out, powerful enemies are everywhere and you have the "puny" trait reducing your HP to 200).
The game has a fantastic art style, a sense of humor that hovers around amusing without ever being outright hilarious and generally feels good to play (even though I'd much rather aim down the sights than sprint with the left trigger).
