From 1928 to 1983, New Orleans had an amusement park and beach called Pontchartrain Beach. Before Six Flags New Orleans, this amusement park captured the hearts of most people of New Orleans who have fond memories of it. Not much remains, but I found a few really cool remnants of a time gone by.
