0For the sequel, Valve decided to throw in a cooperative mode which, if I were to sum it up, is what you have experienced in single player, but doubled, to accommodate that second participant. If you can get the right science partner, as the game calls it, then solving puzzles with your friend can be super fun and also give plenty of opportunities to laugh.
