I'm not gonna lie, but that is going to be difficult to do better than that for the actual speedrun. I spent about 2 hours to perfect this route.

Here is what I learned:
- At the start, aim slightly up and at the edge of the portalable wall. This will get the portal closer to you. Also, aiming high on that wall always puts the portal so it is touching the ground for some reason, which helps you in this case.
- Starting moving your hand towards a memorized position so that you can make the second pixel-perfect shot as you are moving with your left hand. Your left hand should memorize when it needs to crouch and where it needs to move Chell.
- PRO-TIP: After you are crouching at the edge of the railing, continue to hold D (strafe right). This will cause Chell to move backwards very very very slowly. That isn't all; you need to always be completely against that railing to make this shot, so it guarantees that. Also, this increased my percent chance to hit this shot from about 15-20% to 50%.
- Next, you need to use your peripheral vision to align the bottom edge of the orange part of the crosshair with the top edge of the railing. This is the perfect position to make the shot.
- DO NOT ZOOM. At this point, as long as you can line up the center dot of your crosshair with the bottom of the white sliver, you can make the shot. It is substantially easier and quicker this way.
- Then, do 2 crouch bunny hops, and the third non-crouched, so you can stop yourself in the correct position.
- Go for the gold! Make sure that your next jump is into a crouched bunny hop and that you are aiming your body so that you'll bunny hop off the edge of the scaffolding on the outside.
- Turn quickly as you exit the portal. Your orange portal will portal bump off the blue and end up on the wall, giving you the necessary reportal speed to make it to the far scaffolding.
- Crouch bunny hop to the exit, and you will perfectly make it into the elevator doors as they are opening.
- Also, because of this map, I was able to teach my hand how to move the crosshair in pixel increments. I should be more accurate now for future maps.
