So, you've seen my Jump Theory using a reportal shot from the perpendicular wall to try to get to the platform awning. I had 3 very close attempts at making that jump. The one I uploaded was the third jump of those attempts.

But, after that, I continued to make other ideas and try out other things. The video is to give everyone insight on how I make new routes and come up with new ideas. So, I continued testing.

The first set is trying to reportal jump into the floor portal. I tried several different angles and ways of entering the floor portal, but, to no avail did I ever get to the awning. It seems that the jump is not angled enough or fast enough to get to the surface of the awning.

Then, I tried other methods that seemed logical. There are 2 floor portalable spots, so why not try to launch myself up to the awning. These were successful, but unfortunately, slower than the current methods. I was able to get up there with or without reportaling; the non-reportal method being more difficult.

After doing the aformentioned jump concept, I realized that you don't need to shoot the portal as high as others do on the wall to make it using the current jump route. So, the final one is showing how I got to what I currently use, which is the same jump as others do, except putting the portal just above the scaffolding railings, which allows the least falling distance, thus saving time. Enjoy!

Note: This is called "First Jump" because this map has 2 main 'jumps' in it; this one, and the one to fling yourself to the elevator platform.
