This video shows what is probably the easiest access point to a glitch realm or secret world in the game Portal. In case you are wondering, the test chamber is 11, in which you get the upgraded portal gun. Just slowly move your cursor over the energy pellet catcher in the main chamber until your cursor turns blue, then fire a portal.
Note that this was done on the PC version. It is also possible on the Mac version, but as for the other editions, I cannot confirm that this is possible. I would assume that it is, however. Certain conditions can cause the secret world behind the wall to just be black with some crazy after images like it is in this video or look like an all out acid trip. The conditions are the graphics settings; if they're high enough, it will look like a double rainbow all the way across the sky. Thanks to redxparasite for helping me discover this glitch on his Mac.
