It looks like Warner Bros is ready to pick a name for Batman vs Superman, and Im just glad I don't have the job of narrowing this list down. Like a thief in the night, Warner brothers secretly registered possible title names through the internet brand protection company, MarkMonitor, which is the same company they registered their own website (warnerbros.com) with, as well as SupermanvsBatman.com. Fusible, which is a website that breaks news based on domain name registrations, got their hands on this list , and after reading through the options it's pretty clear that the title will have some combination of Man of Steel, Darkness, and/or Knight (with a K) in the new title. Sorry to those of you who were digging the whole Batman vs Superman thing. Some possible options are "Man of Steel Battle the Knight" "Man of Steel Beyond Darkness", "Man of Steel Black of Knight", "Man of Steel Darkness Falls", "Man of Steel Knight Falls", "Man of Steel Shadow of the Night" (this "night" is with an N, but I think I would like this one if it was with a K), "Man of Steel The Blackest Hour", and "Man of Steel The Darkness Within." However, we think we can narrow down the studios favorite picks based on the fact that they also registered shorter versions of some of the titles which are "Battle the Knight", "Black of Knight", "Knight Falls", and "The Blackest Hour." Mysteriously absent from the list are the words "World's" and "Finest". Many of you out there were hoping Warner Bros would stick with the comic inspiration, but it doesn't look like that is the case, at least if these domain names are any indication. One fan in particular that has been very vocal about the name is comic writer and Fox's Marvel consultant Mark Millar who tweeted "World's Finest is perfect. Doesn't need Supes or Bats in title any more than Avengers needed Iron Man in there. People get it." So, what do you all think?
