Lore: The American government managed to escape Dc to their bunkers in the Rockies. During the first moments after the apocalypse, they planned the day they would emerge out of their bunkers and the Rockies to reunite the USA under the original government, doing things like setting up local settlements for survivors and researching technology suited for the wasteland. Now, the time has come for the enclave to finally emerge out of their area and reunite the wasteland.

The driving ideology of these men was a far-right breed of National Populism which called for a rebirth of the former Confederacy to form a bastion of Christendom and “Old Stock Americanism” in the New World.
