Surely though at least one of the playable characters gets some sort of "good" ending, right?

Granted, the above question also comes with being sure that at least one character is most definitely not going to have anything good happen (or if it does it'll be pretty surprising) :')

Either way, there's not much of the game left, which means we might be doing other things later on if what's left is pretty short overall ;-;
