Postal 2 (Steam) Mod Insanity #3
0Ever..Have one of those days? When you wish...You could just start going insane? Postal 2 is that kind of game, Tuesday is my favorite day of this whole game for a reason.. The Petition is the part that made me piss myself laughing so much as the cops and armed citizens would attack you if you pester them, It's skipped if you play on the last two difficulties but that I can understand.
The marching band returns and just watching them getting blown up by a Terrorist is so fucking insane, There's a Achivement if you stop this but obviously using the workshop mods nullifies any attempts, This game also got a lot of attention at E3 in 2003 because it features a celebrity cameo that no other game can beat...Diff'erent Strokes actor Gary Coleman, You need to collect his autograph and he serves as a boss if you choose to attack him but I'm NOT doing that right now, As I mentioned he gains the Doom II Chaingun with the "Alcrd's Weapons" mod so he can kill you in a second flat...
The Confess Sins brings us into another battle we have to fight through:This time, The Taliban attack the church so I use the Catnip cheat as taking on these Taliban without the mods is pretty tough even on Average, Then the Library book is the final task, This is another battle with the 2nd "Hate group", The Book Protesters...These guys are bit tougher then the Video Game Protesters as they don't just carry pistols, but also pack shotguns and molotov's, This part has insta kill areas that will burn you alive if you touch the flame so it gives some platforming parts that FPS games aren't really known for.
It's funny, many of these weapons come from the old old mod A Week In Paradise, Eternal Damnation and some mod that never worked for me:Eternal Apocalypse, The mods I use also have the infamous socks from the Russian "mod" Corkscrew Rules, Some weapons have caused my game to crash such as the Flamethrower M249 SAW and the Hate Yer State chainsaw so I toss the weapons or never use the chainsaw, I wish these mods developers would test them..and ensure bugs like that don't exist.
There's also....A big big Easter egg at the Paradise Mall, A open grate with a dead cop inside a area under construction reveals to us a VR Glasses set and using this brings us to the "future" and inside a store named "Steme", A clear rift of Steam where Mike J. is selling POSTAL Redux at a store while reminding us not to buy Postal III, Speaking of that..If I can reach Friday without a crash or bullshit error I will showcase another hidden Easter Egg which also slams Postal III.
