Potawatomi State Park is a 1,225-acre Wisconsin state park northwest of the city of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin in the Town of Nasewaupee. It is located in Door County along Sturgeon Bay, a bay within the bay of Green Bay. Potawatomi State Park was established in 1928
Located near the city of Sturgeon Bay, Potawatomi State Park is a "must-see" of Door County. Sprawling across 1200 acres, the landscape of the park consists of a rolling terrain accented by steep slopes and limestone cliffs. Visitors enjoy fishing from the accessible pier, launching boats, camping, hiking, biking, picnicking and climbing the observation tower for a view 225 feet above bay level. The wide variety of plants, flowers, animals and birds is also an attraction for many visitors. Camping reservations are encouraged and can be made up to 11 months in advance before the date of occupancy. Camping seasons typically run spring through fall.
