Powerslave Exhumed is Nightdive Studio's remaster to the original Powerslave(aka Exhumed) console version. It offers all kinds of modern commodities and blends the Playstation 1 and Saturn versions of the game to get the best of two worlds, effectively crafting the ultimate way to experience this game.
Lobotomy shelved temporarily the PC game, focusing on offering the best FPS they could do on the Sega Saturn. For that matter, they crafted the Slavedriver engine for FPS games, which they would later use to port Quake and Duke Nukem 3D onto the Saturn. Later on, they delivered the PS1 port and the PC version. The console version of PS is a very different beast when compared to the PC one, instead of a linear, classic FPS progression where you go level to level, gathering the keys that will unlock your progress, this game does a metroidvania in a shooter even before metroidvanias were a thing. You will gather new powers which will allow to access new areas in previously visited levels.

Powerslave Exhumed es el remaster de Nightdive Studio de la versión de consola del original Powerslave(también Exhumed). Ofrece todo tipo de comodidades modernas y mezcla la versión de Playstation 1 y de Saturn para ofercer lo mejor de ambos mundos, creando la versión definitiva para experimentar este juego.
Lobotomy archivó temporalmente el juego de PC, centrándose en ofrecer la mejor experiencia FPS posible en la Sega Saturn. Para ese trabajo crearon el motor Slavedriver para FPSs, que más adelante usarían para portear Quake y Duke3D a la Saturn. Más adelante ofrecieron la versión de PS1 y finalmente la de PC. La versión de consola es una criatura muy diferente cuando se compara con la de PC, en lugar de niveles clásicos, lineales donde vas de nivel en nivel recogiendo llaves para desbloquear el progreso, este juego hace un metroidvania en un shooter antes de que los metroidvanias fueran denominados. Obtendrás nuevos poderes que permitirán acceso a nuevas áreas en mapas previamente visitados.
