The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy takes almost everything we could want in a family crossover SUV, and wraps it up into one package. From the innovative technology to the spacious interior, to the comfortable driving dynamics, the Hyundai Santa Fe is a superb family hauler, or if you're like us, a great midsize SUV to downsize to from driving something like a Chevy Suburban. One of the best aspects of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe's interesting boxy styling is that it feels far roomier inside than its exterior would suggest, and while driving a Hyundai Palisade isn't exactly enormous, the Santa Fe feels notably smaller without sacrificing much in the way of cargo carrying capability, flexibility, and amenities. In fact, in Calligraphy trim, the Hyundai Santa Fe feels as though it covers almost all of the excellent options available on the slightly larger Hyundai Palisade while providing some that the Palisade lacks (such as the dual wireless chargers and disinfection station) and a better infotainment technology experience. The only downside to the Hyundai Santa Fe is the powertrain because Hyundai insists on using a dual clutch automatic for some reason, but that's easily remedied by choosing the hybrid option instead with its conventional six speed automatic. In fact, you can get the Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid in Calligraphy trim with FWD instead of H-TRAC all-wheel drive for under $50k, which is a fantastic deal.
