Around 1 hour 8 minutes to beat. This game has passwords, which is basically unlimited continues. For almost every stage I input the password immediately, instead of playing the stage with my remaining lives. I did this to start each stage with the default 3 lives. I edited out those unsuccessful continues or stages that I rest to input the password. Each stage has a checkpoint or a few and can stretch on for a while. The semi final stage has a password but the final stage does not. So you have to beat the last two stages back to back. You get some 1 up pick ups, but you have to manage the enemies and crowd control well. Theres definately a pacing to the game and you want to stopping and clearing out enemies before moving forward, when possible. I had to modify those strats slightly for each stage. The final stage was the biggest change with the predators which take more hits. You can one shot them with a disk weapon but have to manage it carefully. Will be completing this for Game Gear too and then try the Genesis version.
