Preparing For 2016 Pokémon TCG State/Provincial Championships
7Welcome back, Pokémon Trainers! It's time again for a weekly news update video!
- Once again, I've got another Pokémon TCG booster pack to open up! This one will be Primal Clash, with the code card (as always) going out to one lucky viewer. I'll open up the booster near the end of the video, and give you viewers the Question of the Day for you to respond to. Leave your response in a comment down below using the hashtag #QOTD, and you'll be entered into the running to receive the code card when I do the drawing this coming Sunday, January 31st.
- Pokémon Shuffle has been expanded with the addition of new Main and Expert stages to challenge your tile-matching skills. Also, two new Special stages have appeared, one being another Pokémon Safari containing Cherubi, Cherrim, Carvanha, Sharpedo, and Spinda (so make sure to bring some Bug- or Fighting-types!), and the other containing the Legendary Pokémon, Zekrom. Be sure to bring some Ground-type Pokémon to dish out some super-effective damage against this electric legendary for a better chance of capturing it for your collection!
- The 2016 Pokémon TCG State/Provincial Championships have been announced. Beginning in mid-March, these are special tournament events held throughout North America, where you have a chance to win Championship Points, which increases your chances of being invited to the higher-level premier events, such as Regional, National, and even the World Championships.
