Preview: Chromatic FPGA GameBoy Color by ModRetro!
@ModRetroHub , the makers of the Chromatic, a new FPGA based Game Boy Color compatible portable system was at Portland Retro Gaming Expo. It is an FPGA Based Gameboy Color Clone system for $199 that has a variety of awesome colors and a premium metal shell. They had some nearly completed demo units on hand for us to play and some developers on hand to answer questions.
I had a very interesting time playing with it and definitely have some thoughts on it.
