Primalist Eye Customization in Dressing Room - Possible Future Dragonflight Customization?
DRAGONFLIGHT POSTED 18 HR 45 MIN AGO BY PERCULIA
Glowing Primalist eye options are available in Wowhead's Dragonflight Dressing Room, leading us to speculate they could be character customizations in the future.
There are four Primalist eye color options: Primalist - Earth, Primalist - Fire, Primalist - Air, and Primalist - Water.
Primalist Air Primalist Earth Primalist FirePrimalist Water
How to Enable Primalist Eye Colors in the Dressing Room
To experiment with the Primalist eye colors in Wowhead's Dressing Room, make sure you are on our beta domain, which will say "beta" in the URL, otherwise you will be looking at the version of the Dressing Room which only has Shadowlands options. You can swap between live and beta by clicking on the "beta" button next to the search box at the very top of the site.
Once you are on the beta Dressing Room, click on the character button and then select "NPC options" which will bring up more options on the "Eye Color" setting for any race. Every time you select a customization option, the URL will automatically update to auto-save your preferences, so you can simply copy the link to share your unique Dracthyr Visage with your friends.
Possible Character Customization?
Primalist eye colors are currently NPC-only options in our Dragonflight dressing room, but they are much-more complete than the other options, complete with a color picker and names. This could indicate they are planned to be added to character customization in the future, perhaps tied to an achievement unlock similar to the Dark Ranger customization options added in Patch 9.2.5.
So far, each Primalist eye color lines up with the concept artwork for the Primal Leaders, as well as the different tints of the Primalist Tier Sets. This could imply that the eye colors could be tied to the raid storyline or progress:
Who are the Primalists? (Spoilers)
The Primalists are proto-dragons aligned with Galakrond instead of the Titans. They went to war with the aspects over the place of dragonkind, ultimately remaining in isolation on the Dragon Isles while the aspects went out in to the world.
The Dragonflight pre-patch introduces them as a threat, with datamined scenario invasions taking place in the Badlands, Barrens, Tirisfal Glades, and Un'Goro:
Primal Elements in the Badlands
Defeat Imbued Creatures: Defeat Imbued creatures and Primalists.
Containing the Elements: Defeat the Unleashed Elemental.
Primal Elements in the Barrens
Defeat Imbued Creatures: Defeat Imbued creatures and Primalists.
Containing the Elements: Defeat the Unleashed Elemental.
Primal Elements in Tirisfal Glades
Defeat Imbued Creatures: Defeat Imbued creatures and Primalists.
Containing the Elements: Defeat the Unleashed Elemental.
Primal Elements in Un'Goro
Defeat Imbued Creatures: Defeat Imbued creatures and Primalists.
Containing the Elements: Defeat the Unleashed Elemental.
The Primalists will continue to be a threat we encounter throughout Dragonflight, attacking the Dracthyr in the starting zone, the Red Dragonflight eggs in the Waking Shores and leylines in the Azure Span.
In the Azure Span questline, we also encounter Raszageth, the Storm Eater, the final boss of Vault of the Incarnates, who was freed by the Primalists in the Dracthyr starting zone. She is a force to be reckoned with, as Wrathion claims to have "never faced a dragon of such raw elemental power."
