The Labour leader has called for a vote in Parliament on cuts to the Armed Forces announced in this week’s Defence Command Paper.

In a heated exchange at Prime Minister’s Questions, Sir Keir Starmer accused Boris Johnson of breaking an election promise not to cut the military ‘in any form’.

The Prime Minister says he’s exceeded his manifesto commitment by increasing defence spending by an extra 14%.
