In some ways this run has been long-coming: I originally spent a fair amount of time learning the game back in March of 2015 but gave up on it due to a DOSBox-locking crash that prevented the game from being completed in a single sitting. Eventually I learned it was possible to avoid this by reducing sound quality to that of the PC speaker, which is why everything sounds bleep-bloopy, but didn't have the motivation to continue. Fast forward to about two weeks ago, and I was asked to participate in an online marathon, at which point I willingly volunteered to play this game. So here we are.

The run as a whole is pretty good, at least as far as the current RTA optimizations are concerned. At the very end I have a very dumb death costing something like 15 seconds, but that's peanuts compared to the rest. I'll be honest: I don't enjoy running this game at all, which is why I'm satisfied with the video you see.
