Evolution of the WAD is a show describing the history, legacy, and content of Doom mapping styles and themes. This episode covers opening shots and scenes in maps, starting by examining what exists in the original game and branching out into the various styles and approaches that occur in the years following. They say don't judge a book by its cover, but that doesn't mean not to make a good cover anyway!

So much for little topic, this episode got WAY out of hand. You'll notice a number of little edits here and there: I managed to cut out a good twenty minutes due to technical problems and whatnot, but it's still a whopper. Hopefully you'll watch enough to catch some glimpses of insight, or to at least enjoy the showcasing. I WILL try to make a short one next time.
