Evolution of the WAD is a show describing the history, legacy, and content of Doom mapping styles and themes. This episode covers map progression in the style of Hexen, whose episodes are also known as "hubs" due to a main map often branching to a number of side maps that are required to progress. There aren't a great many examples out there that use it, but it's an interesting approach to mapping in this format and raises an important question: can Doom benefit from this style (and does it already)? With special guest Kaiser (aka one of the main guys behind Strife: Veteran Edition)!
