The Prinny platformers were infamous for being incredibly difficult games, where you would often need to work through all 1,000 of the "lives" that the game gives you. Now they're on Nintendo Switch, and they're excellent, satirical good fun.

I take a look at these re-released cult classics, and then discuss what it means for a game to be "difficult" in 2020 - I argue that in a lot of cases what we perceive to be "difficult" today isn't like the games of yesteryear, and that perhaps "difficult" is the wrong word for it.
