Prioritizing Your Time in Marvel Contest of Champions
For the sake of saving you time, if you'd rather just read a TL:DW
Energy on limited event
Full clear the highest difficulty you can, and just completion run of all lower tiers
If you can do so with limited revives, do a completion run of the easiest path for the next difficulty up
upgrade materials, unless its the T4 basic or T3 class since running those are really inefficient and you should get them from other ways.
Energy on Story
Progress as far as you can without revives, then go back and start going for exploration when you run into the "Skill wall"
Start practicing
Alliance Quest or Alliance War. Both if you can
Dungeons?
Versus
Whatever you can easily and comfortably reach milestones on. Asssuming you aren't dumping enough time to get the characters, you want to get the minimum for rank rewards for as many arenas as you can, Then prioritize arenas based on what you can quickly generate points on. 3* featured is relatively accessible to everyone as has solid milestone rewards.
I highly advise you use arena grinding as a good time to look up gameplay, look up tier lists, look through your roster as you might have a gem you didn't realize was OP because sometimes a different playstyle is what draws out the power of a character. IE Quake, Stark Spidey, Hela, Nebula etc.
