Future Investment Initiative 7th Edition
As the world ushers in the age of Generation Alpha, demographic development stands at a pivotal crossroads where innovation, equity, and aspiration — including addressing global challenges from poverty to climate change — intersect. While technology could expand access and also has the potential to bridge the gender divide in terms of educational attainment, UNESCO estimates it would cost a daily rate of $1 billion to guarantee connectivity to people in poor countries — and significantly more, when including regions undergoing profound demographic shifts due to migration. In a time when knowledge is the compass for the world’s collective future, how must governments, educators, and industry leaders innovate and invest to ensure that leaders empower every child, regardless of their background or gender?
