The script is not the best but the acting is awesome, if you watched the Movie and the Sheriff didn`t scare you then I don`t know what to say but for me it was scary because I saw people like that in real life, never know when they are gonna blow up, dangerous.
I really was more scared of the cops than the robbers, who is with me?
And another thing, I have just realized that Donnie is the son of Ice Cube :), I kept seeing him as Ice Cube but with something really off in Straight out of Compton and just thought was another actor who just looked like him for the purpose of that Movie, don`t judge me :)
