Thank you for getting in contact regarding an issue with fonts in Train Simulator.

We have a solution you can try, but you will need to please make sure you either keep a copy of the original file in a different location in order to replace it if the fix doesn't work, or you will need to perform a complete reinstall following the instructions here: https://dovetailgames.kayako.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/262/12/how-to-completely-re-install-train-simulator-or-train-sim-world

First, please navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\data\scaleform
And locate the file called: fonts.json
Please open it with a program such as Notepad ++ and find the following section in the file:

"libraryNames" : [ "fonts_en" ],
"mappings" : [
{
"source" : "$TitleFont",
"target" : "Exo"
} ,
{
"source" : "$SmallFont",
"target" : "Bree Serif"
}

Next, replace the fonts "Exo" and "Bree Serif" for "Times New Roman" as shown below:

"target" : "Times New Roman"
} ,

"source" : "$SmallFont",
"target" : "Times New Roman"
}

Save your changes, then restart your computer and launch Train Simulator.
