Today, I somehow get to talking about tragic accidents, and then decide to talk about how different experiences can be equal. Although one person's experience of actually being in an accident can never be the same as someone who was forced to watch from the sidelines, they can still be equal in the amount of emotion you get from them. The person in the accident would have a lot of panic but little helplessness towards acting on their situation, while the person on the sidelines would not be in much panic, but would feel completely helpless about being able to do something.
