PROJECT ANTEROS | Train R&D - #15
Welcome to Project Anteros – A Brutal Survival Challenge In Space Engineers!
Mission 15 - Train and Rail R&D
The road network won’t be enough forever. It’s time to take the first step into large-scale transport: rail infrastructure.
In this episode, the Pioneer begins experimenting with rail design and early train concepts. Before a kilometre of track can be laid, stability and long-term durability must be proven. This is all about research and development — figuring out what works, and what doesn’t, before committing to a planetary-scale railway system.
Mission Goals:
Experiment with basic rail layouts (straight lines, curves, gradients)
Prototype train bogey systems for smooth, stable travel
Test suspension, wheel alignment, and track stability
This is just the beginning of a transport revolution on Anteros — the early blueprints of what will one day connect quarries, refineries, and factories across the desert world.
