Project Bumblebee: Introduction
Yes, I'm aware the car is dirty. The sky decided to send a torrent of rain from hell just this morning.

Project Bumblebee has been planned for over two years and it's time to get to work!
This stock 2002 Miata NB Sport will, over the next year, be transformed into a car that can handle the street, the track and turn some heads at the local car meetup or the car fair. My goals, in short, are as follows:
Interior redecoration with dual color interior (tan/black), chrome accents and LED interior lights. Exterior styling with good looking rims, styling front- and taillights, discrete side skirts and a low spoiler on the boot. Occasional chrome detailing on the exterior.
Performance wise I'll be redoing the entire brake system with bigger brakes, stronger calipers and braided brake lines. I'll be replacing the stock flywheel and clutch with a lightweight performance set. Suspension will be swapped to an adjustable coilover set. Engine will see a full fuel system replacement with new injectors, fuel pump and a flexfuel sensor. It'll gain a cold-air intake and a supercharger. New ignition and full aftermarket ECU and tune.
The engine will otherwise be kept stock as an engine rebuild is not on the rocks at present. I might go for a rebuild sometime in the future, but for now I just want to push it up over 200-ish WHP for that extra torque and drivability.
Additional quality of life things include things like bonnet lifters and a proper stereo system.
