This was quite the race! We started with 7 human players, a bit of a record for us! This is also one of the longest races we have ever done, with a full day/night cycle, and a great range of weather!

It was a pretty rough race for me, I got started 3rd from last (and I'm not the best driver in the group anyway) but had a really great start, and got to 6th place right off the line! I didn't back off quick enough though, and got beached in the sand around the first real corner.

I didn't really think I was doing that well for the rest of the race, and was getting frustrated, so made a lot of mistakes trying to catch up. Towards the end I just gave up and started driving for the fun of it. But apparently, I wasn't doing nearly as badly as I thought. Apparently, this build had some kind of but with the placement counter (you can see it flashing weirdly at many different points in the race.) Turnes out, I actually finished the race in 7th place! Nothing amazing, in the grand scheme of things, but I was satisfied with it in the end.
