Project CARS VR - Racing simulator gameplay with Oculus Rift
Project CARS is a driving and racing simulation game that supports virtual reality on the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR HMDs.
I'm playing this game on the Oculus Rift with a Thrustmaster T150 force feedback racing wheel and pedals. Project CARS offers one of the most immersive experiences you can have in VR so I'm having a ton of fun playing it, even though I'm not a huge fan of racing games. For this video I am just cruising down the highway in practice mode so I can talk about the game. I tried to film myself racing but it was so intense in VR that I couldn't produce a coherent string of thoughts for the camera while controlling my car properly.
Project CARS came out in May 2015 for PC and consoles. It now supports VR for both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and will support the PSVR once that is released.
If you're into virtual reality, check out my channel! I have a HTC Vive and an Oculus Rift and I'm obsessed with VR gaming. Throw me a sub if you like what you see, and let me know in the comments if there any VR games you'd like to see.
