Project M Mewtwo - Boss Battles Intense (No damage)
Mewtwo is pretty good at fighting the bosses. His midair jump, teleport, great rolling dodges, and great air speed work amazingly well for evading boss attacks, and Mewtwo has plenty of flexibility in how he can attack. Against landlocked bosses, down smash racks up damage at a very high rate, completing fast and dealing a single strong 15-17% with each blow. Mewtwo's damage rate is much slower against airborne bosses, where Mewtwo relies on repeated fairs (which is the most damage efficient attack when bosses are out of reach of his down smash). Mewtwo's other noteworthy attack is his forward smash, which while often too slow in completion to be damage efficient, its incredible disjointed reach gives Mewtwo opportunities to safely attack when other attacks outside Shadow Ball would be unsafe, and dealing a very strong 20%, it leaves it mark on bosses.
The biggest obstacle to this run was Porky, for one move only; his Tracking Laser. The combination of Melee air dodges, Mewtwo's slow movement, and Mewtwo's immense size, make it a very difficult attack to dodge, that sometimes is just outright impossible depending on yours and Porky's position when he initiates it. It's just that one move though, the rest of Porky's attacks are pretty much harmless to Mewtwo without Mewtwo being in really bad positioning, and Mewtwo can kill Porky very fast (so you'll just to have dodge one Tracking Laser, and sometimes may be able to kill him before he initiates it).
For other bosses, the next biggest threats came from the Duon and Ridley. With the Duon, he mostly ended runs when I was being reckless and got hit by those lingering hitboxes on his wheels, otherwise Mewtwo can evade everything of his very easily except for the Subspace Laser (which like Porky's Tracking Laser, messes Mewtwo up badly, as he's too large and slow to run away, his rolling dodges take too long to complete to dodge with them, and his sidestep has very strict timing to successfully dodge them with it). With Ridley, his unpredictability (especially with that charge attack) managed to end some runs.
Rayquaza, while normally one of the biggest threats to other characters, is completely wrecked by Mewtwo and hardly a threat at all, even in fast mode (which is normally the hardest Boss Battles boss to no damage). Mewtwo's attributes are just perfect for evading Rayquaza while being able to counterattack, Mewtwo's down smash will drain Rayquaza's life hideously fast (and ensure Rayquaza will die before he can use Thunder), and Mewtwo's f-smash is the perfect counterattack when Rayquaza is using Dig.
For other bosses, Tabuu, the Galleom, and Master Hand were slight threats, while Meta Ridley, Crazy Hand, and Petey Piranha were freebies.
Overall, this wasn't too difficult with Mewtwo.
