Did MUGEN survive the jump to 3D?

Kirin Musume (Trorosoba)
That's right, it's one of those videos where I discuss all the characters. Funnily enough I alluded to this set of characters in the Xehanort video. And my evaluation is basically the same. Despite looking really jerky due to being comprised of PS2 screenshots they're pretty well put together and honestly pretty fun to play. Which is great because these are some of the only few Monster Hunter MUGEN characters out there.

Turok (DaleGamerAndModLover)
And in this corner we have Turok from Turok Rage Wars. Sadly he's honestly kinda crap. I mean, you see the video, you know how he plays. I feel I don't really need to explain how I don't like how this character was put together.

Leus Hunter (Trorosoba)
And from the same set of MH characters we have a hunter with the Rathalos gear. The Leus coming from a potential romanization of his JP name, Rioreusu. There's a third hunter with a full set of Kushala Daora armor and a longsword and versions of all three with upgraded armor but I didn't really have enough space to slot any of them into this vid. Basically what I said about Kirin Musume applies to this guy.

Tatsumaki ost (oscarstg)
Admittedly this one's pretty confusing. It appears to be a scaled up version of a JUS styled Tatsumaki, but not all of the sprites were replaced and none of the projectiles were properly reproportioned it seems. I'm honest to god not entirely sure why I got this character unless I knew I'd make a vid all about pre-rendered 3D sprite characters in the future.

Alisa Bosconovitch (QY China)
You probably could have guessed from the last video but I've been getting really into Tekken 8, which of course means I had to check out what Tekken characters there were for MUGEN. And also in the last video I made I alluded to having a character other than Lars that I primarily main. It's this one, it's Alisa. And it seems that this is actually the only Alisa made for MUGEN, and thankfully it's a surprisingly solid rendition of her appearance in Street Fighter X Tekken. The one thing that baffles me is for some god forsaken reason the sprites don't use Alisa's default outfit, they don't even use any of the actual SFxTK alternates, but the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 swimsuit alt that someone modded into the game. If you're going to do something as cockamamy as use a TTT2 skin someone modded into the game at least have it be the Twilight Princess alt from the Wii U version. I'm practically losing my head over this.

King (lumppowraca)
Here's one more Tekken character, this time it's a mangled mess of cutouts of King from Tekken 3, specifically in his player 2 outfit. Not only does he move incredibly weird but his hitboxes are super fucked up as well. I honestly don't see how somebody could think of releasing a character in this state.

Mario (HCL)
Despite looking crusty as all hell this character's pretty cool. There are a few imperfections but this is a very solid Mario that's pretty fun to play. They even went out of their way to give him a SMB1 palette by default, that's honestly really cool.

Broly Ultimate Super Saiyan - Saiyan (Squall, Claudio84)
Say that five times fast. Now I couldn't pass up a janky 3D Broly, I love this huge doofus. You could probably tell from the video that he's a bizarre mess, but he has the ability to fly like Sentinel or Magneto. And it actually seems to be programmed properly, which is really strange considering how sloppy and choppy the rest of this character is.
