The glitch with Falco on Smashville is a rare instance of an ECB bug. Our experts call it "Sticky Edge Collisions". It's been there since Brawl (although there it functioned differently), and happens when the character's ECB (Environmental Collision Box) gets stuck on a platform as the character falls from it. If the character goes back under the plat their ECB is stuck on, the game will try to snap them back up into place, thus creating that warp.
