Created by Jakub Cislo at the age of 18 while he was still in high school (massive congrats there), Project Warlock is a retro indie FPS game that is a throwback to games like Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, and Hexen. The game features 60 action packed levels with great sprite artwork, a variety of weapons to use against many monsters, and most importantly it's a fun game. I recommend the game there, a really good time.
Of course when the Big Box for this game was announced by John Romero for the Romero Games website, I went out of my way to pick up a copy of it. I didn't managed to get a VIP tier box on time so I settled with a top tier box. Either way, the box is nice to have and it has the signatures of both John Romero AND Jakub Cislo.
In this video I show what the box looks on the outside, see the contents inside, and take a closer look at what data is in the USB stick. I would prefer if the box itself was something more like the Dangerous Dave Big Box that was released last year, something more sturdy to make up its unnecessarily big size. Ah well, I'll have this Big Box on my shelf and be happy to have it.
Seriously though, play Project Warlock, it's a great game I cannot recommend it enough!
