Project Wingman - PSVR2 360° Headset only "Frontline 59" Dogfighting Mode - Plane Destruction
This is one of the most confusing things ever. To sum things up, the game is called Project Wingman, and Frontline 59 is the quasi-VR mode in that you have to use the regular dualsense ps5 controllers with the headset instead of the PSVR2 sense controllers (and i thought nothing was less intuitive than the PS4 controllers not working on ps5 games when its just haptics/adaptive triggers).
The (Non-VR) campaign mode states there are no checkpoints, so I would recommend easy mode. VR frontlinr 59 campaign mode has different dialogue and it was funny clipping through a plane as I didn't get used to taking off.
It was a lot of fun once I figured it out, but VR can be exhausting after a while (this one mission is over a half hour as another vid showed: https://youtu.be/PIqlmHI56lE?si=k4FDk_zCZonCn5jt
Actually watching a plane I destroyed gradually explode as I go past it is quite the badass meme.
I did get used to non-VR conquest which is just dogfighting without as much dialogue, and campaign modes (which mission 1 you don't take off in the runway unlike VR that has a ton of unskippable dialogue while you wait if you retry).
There are also flares with L3 that can divert missile locks, which is pretty unique. Switching missiles and having rapid locks can be pretty cool too. The guns can help though that takes concentration to get used to.
