PROJECT WINGMAN VR: FRONTLINE-59 - PSVR2 GAMEPLAY WITH NO COMMENTARY - PART 1 - MISSION ONE

🕹WELCOME TO THE GAMING NOISEMAKERS 👾
I’m playing Project Wingman: Frontline 59 VR on PSVR2 with Sense controllers.
In this video I start the game. On firing up the game the menu came up and you gave 2 options which set alarm bells off, and as i started my first game only to find out the first part of the menu is for ‘project wingman’ which is only flat game and the other part was for ‘project wingman frontline 59’ which is the full vr game. The frontline 59 side is separate from the first part of project wingman, and the psvr2 content is only the story of fromtline 59, which is 6 missions lasting about 3hrs.
This is disappointing as the marketing made it seem like the whole game, both parts, would be VR.
Hopefully we get a patch which adds the VR mode to the first part If the game.
But thankfully the frontline 59 VR game is great! The flight controls and cockpit feel just like Ace Combat 7 with the dualsense, and was very easy to jump back into for me.
The plane handles good, and the controls are good. The dogfighting is tight and with added face haptics you really feel those explosions.
The ground doesnt look as good as the flat screenshots unfortunately but it still looks better than most, and overall the VR side is worth the entrance fee.
I feel £24.99 is a steep price if like me youre buying this for VR only, but i dont feel ripped off, just mislead. So far its a buy recommendation but one that comes with a warning about the whole game not being VR.
The problem thats becoming very obvious Is these pcvr/quest vr studios rely heavily on their mod communities. This game only looks like it does and runs like it does on pcvr because of mods.
We dont have mods on PlayStations platform unless sony get a cut so its why these game come over and look pants.
These VR studios need to understand if they release a game on our platform it has to be up to Standard and what was promised. And the only way that is happening is by them doing all the work as we dont have a mod community willing to fix it.
If its too much of an undertaking to release a game on psvr2 for your studio, dont do it.
We have no mods, no one is fixing or improving your game but you.
Its becoming an repeating pattern and long term i can see it only hurting our platform having these one man band studios on psvr2.
