My initial ideas for the continuation of the series were too hard to accomplish. So new ideas came upon me and I decided to move Jean Dupuis elsewhere. Just under the pointy lines is a little back story of how Jean ended there. You can read if you want, but Jean will also explain it through his journey.

Steven Jones did the deed. Jean couldn't stand the sight and ran outside. There was a horde, the gun shot most likely attracted them.
Jean desperately locked the door to the roof access. There was just too many of them, the door didn't even last a full minute. Hundreds of dead poured out of the doorway. Jean thought; this is it, the last stand. He took his axe at the ready in hopes to go out with a bang.
Then a voice called out to him: "Grab the rope!"
Jean turned around only to notice a helicopter coming to his aid. He grabbed the rope, kicking the few dead that tried to grab hold of him. He was saved.
Once in the helicopter, his rescuer asked him if knew Steven Jones. Jean couldn't believe it, the ones that were suppose to rescue his would be friend were part of the military.
Jean explained them what happened in the best he could. At first they didn't believe him, but they recall someone actually making calls on the radio about a safe haven, that person was Jean.
They were four of them, one was a pilot, one a soldier and the other one, a doctor. They explained to Jean that there was a safe place for people that weren't infected and that place would be far away.
There would be three stops, a military outpost, a town and then a research facility. Further details were not given, Jean had to keep quiet while the others focused on the task.
