Proof that Sentinel Was a Fake Prime in Transformers 3. If you've seen Dark of the Moon you were probably able to deduce that Sentinel was a fake Prime right off the bat. Particularly with him turning down the Matrix after it was offered to him by Optimus. But there were other clues that proved he wasn't a descendent of the Prime Dynasty. 1 of which comes from Ironhide who was once beefing with the Autobots during their days on Cybertron. He and his people believed that Sentinel was a false Prime who would doom their planet. But 1 of the biggest clues would have to be his head or moreso his helmet. Something you'll notice is that his head bares a similar shape to Optimus. At the end of TF3 its revealed that he's wearing a helmet after it gets knocked off. However in AOE we see energon leak from Optimus' head after his antana falls off. Revealing that everything on his head isn't a helmet. Its a part of him proving that he was a real Prime while Sentinel was not.
