The Drift Lookalike's True Identity in Transformers 5. Michael Bay's Transformers films will always be notorious for their messy continuity. Whenever 1 thing is established in the current film you can always count on it being contradicted in the next installment. Not to mention the newly introduced concepts are never elaborated on. And The Last Knight was by far the worst when it came to this. During a history lesson given by Sir Edmond Burton two Cybertronians were shown standing behind human Samurai during the 1800s. Fans knew that 1 of them was obviously Drift who most likely embraced the way of Bushido shortly after defecting from the Decepticons. But they were left wondering who the lookalike could be. The character was simply labeled the Samurai Knight and could've possibly been 1 of the Guardian Knights. A major clue would be 1 of the Knights having a thick Japanese accent and being voiced by Drift's actor.
