You must use the "Patch" called DARKSIDERS.2.DE.V20151105.ALL.CODEX.NODVD

And use protontricks for install d3dcompiler_43:

protontricks 50650 d3dcompiler_43

With that tinker works on Proton Experimental without issues

For reduce stutter, download DXVK ASYNC from here:

https://github.com/Sporif/dxvk-async/releases

Create a dxvk.conf file and put d3d9.dll 32 bit (both files) in the same directory as the executable, and then add in dxvk.conf:

dxvk.enableAsync = true
dxvk.numAsyncThreads = "insert here the cores of your CPU" (in my case 16 because I got a Ryzen 2700 or set 0 for Auto)

Or set the environment variable DXVK_ASYNC=1 in your bash_profile.
