Prototyping A Unique Stat Randomizer for Mobs in the Pokemobs Datapack - Talon's Oasis - Ep 84
0Today's episode has big implications for the Pokemobs datapack! Our goal is that each creature has different amounts of various stats (we'll be focusing on movement speed for the prototype). Hopefully, we'll be able to randomize this number and keep the command block count down without sacrificing functionality. And if it works we'll be able to generalize to any other stat we want! (And there's a lot in Minecraft that are available)
Extra Stuff:
- When the Piglin transformed his UUID changed. I had no clue that that could happen. It's one of those unique behaviors that seems worth tucking away for a later date to use in some contraption.
- Didn't think about this until afterward, but 2.1 would be a natural max with the equation without having to create a special curve. Might have saved me some work, but I'm glad with the final equation we came up with.
