Should You Buy the Honda Civic Type R? (New Rocket Pass 8 Car Showcase)
The front on this car is bonkers! And it's the first Octane hitbox we've had on a Rocket Pass car in a while, and it's the first branded car in a Rocket Pass, and it's the first car to have glowing lights underneath, and it's the first to have painted versions of both the base car and the upgraded one. This Rocket Pass is an interesting one for sure!
In this video I give you some information on the new car as well as how it feels to play it. I show some of the default decals that you wouldn't otherwise be able to see and play a couple 1s games with it. I focus on how it performs in four areas: dribbles, 50/50s, powershots, and aerials. If you have any questions about this new car let me know in the comments. I'd be happy to answer.
P.S. the Honda Civic Type R is the Octane hitbox
Special note about Season 8: You get all 26 painted Civics (both Type R and Type R-LE) if you reach Tier 209 in the Rocket Pass. Here's a post showing the rewards: https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/x8dbdz/rocket_pass_s8_all_painted_item_tiers_unlocked/
A note about the Rocket Pass: If you get to Tier 110 you get all your credits back! And the premium Rocket Pass gives you more xp than the default one so it's easier to hit Tier 110. So honestly if you play that much there's effectively no downside to getting the Rocket Pass.
