The big one first; NIS America have announced they're bringing over the Vita and PS4 versions of Ys 8, along with a new Steam port. The game is dated for this year; it'll have both English and Japanese voices, English and French text, physical and digital releases, and a special edition which is up for preorder with two artbooks, soundtrack, bookends, cloth poster and steelbook case.

The 3D fighting game Touhou Kobuto V is coming to the West with the subtitle Burst Battle, also from NIS America. It'll be out in the summer in 2017 in North America and Europe as a digital only title.

Tokyo Tattoo Girls, also previously known as Tattoo Nation, is coming to the West in the summer as well for North America and Europe. Not many other details are known about this release yet, including whether or not this replaces the English release from the original studio that was teased earlier.

iO, a physics based platformer about rolling a shrinking and expanding ball to the goal, released by "surprise" this week in North America and Europe. It contains over 200 levels, lots of ways to play with the physics, and support for cross-buy. It's $7.99 or your regional equivalent.

Gem Smashers, a game in development for Vita for over four years, and was actually cancelled at one point, has a release date of March 3rd in North America and Feburary 24th in Europe, both digitally. It'll have over 100 levels, a 2 player battle mode and 3 characters to play.

While I already reported on Stranger of Sword City Revisited's North American date, there are some more details available. The game will cost $29.99, and on the day of launch, an eight hour trial will be available for free alongside the game, and save data can be carried forward into the full version.

PlayStation Now, Sony's service for streaming PS3 titles to your devices, is being shut down for every device except PlayStation 4 and PC. You won't be able to access the service on your Vita after August 15.

Three dates from the NIS America event this week. Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony will release September 26 in North America and September 29 in Europe, with dual audio and English/French text. Cladun Returns is launching on the 6th of June in North America and the 9th of June in Europe, digital only. Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy launches on the 16th of May in North America and the 19th of May in Europe. One delay, unfortunately: Akiba's Beat has been delayed to the 27th of April in Japan; no news if this affects the planned Western release.

And finally this week, Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada, the localized version of Samurai Warriors: Sanada Maru, will be skipping the Vita for the Western release, so don't expect to hear much good news about that. That's it for this week.

I'm happy I delayed that a day since it basically doubled the news I had to talk about and outweighed the bad stuff a bit, although I do hope this doesn't mean Musou Stars is going to skip the Vita in the West. For upcoming videos, you've got a video coming every day this week, with the exception of Thursday, and even then I might be able to get something done for then too. Thanks to my four Patreons, Adam, David, Bliz and Nazmul. Like, subscribe, comment and share the video around if you liked it. See you next week.
