Vertical scrolling shooter Fast Striker has been revealed for Vita and PS4 by developer NGDEV and publisher EastAsiaSoft, who are also organizing a physical version of the game. It'll have six stages, four difficulties and what they claim to be 'silky smooth 60fps'. It'll be available on October 16th for $6.99, cross buy.
Yet another RPG from Kemco and EXE-Create is coming soon in the form of Chronus Arc, and I have absolutely no faith in the idea that it'll be any different from any of the other RPGs they've made. It's out October 10th in Japan, and I imagine a western release won't be far behind.
After a tease a couple of years ago it looks like Atari Flashback Classics may be getting a release on Vita in a new form. This comes from a leaked trophy list; the trophies included have a mixture of games from the first and second volumes with unique trophy art, which would be a lot of effort to go to for a game not being released. There's been no official announcement.
In physical news, horizontal scrolling shooter Ice Cream Surfer is up for preorder on Red Art Games, for 20 euro. It'll release on the 7th of December.
Just one date for you this week, and it's more of a range, with Fate/Extella Link getting a quarter 1 2019 release window.
And finally this week, some more shutdown news. Sound Shapes will be losing it's community-driven level publishing on the 15th of October, joining PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, which has had its shutdown date moved up ten days. That's it for this week.
With both Sound Shapes and PlayStation All-Stars shutting down in two weeks it's time to get the streams out, so on Monday I'll be streaming Sound Shapes community levels and on Wednesday I'll be streaming PlayStation All-Stars online fights, if I can, at the same usual time I put videos out.
