Rapid Reload is an anime style side scrolling shooter. You choose from two characters, and your goal is to be the first treasure hunting crew to find the treasure, Valkiry! Use and upgrade your weapon abilities to make each level a breeze. You have multiple weapon abilities you can change to at will, a slide, hang, a GRAPPLE, and bombs that do tons of damage!
REVIEW: I haven't played Megaman X before (I kno, hold your boos); but it's only bc the Classic Megaman games have always been too hard for me and it's too intimidating. BUT Rapid Reload is very similar to how MMX seems and it's easy to play which makes me feel better about trying MMX in the future!
The game is mostly straight forward. There isn't much platforming. Just shooting. You get to swap around weapon power types whenever you want (I went and checked, the boy can as well, but he has a similar, but different set of weapon abilities), which is awesome for me. The fire seemed to do the most damage, and the homing shots made the game super forgiving of my bad aim ;w;'
I only heard the music track of the first stage; it's fine, it does get a little old, but it's catchy.
