I unlocked Tempest 2000 in the PS1 game, Tempest X3. While Tempest X3 had a lot of alterations from the 2000 formula, Tempest 2000 on PS1 is much more faithful to the Atari Jaguar game it is based on. I was mainly curious how this version played after recently running through the Saturn version. Both the Saturn and PS1 conversions were done by the same company, so I was expecting an identical game, but it turns out the PS1 port has more in common with the Jaguar game than the Saturn, thankfully. Lots of interesting similarities between all the versions, but with many notable differences too.


Interestingly, this hidden version of Tempest 2000 doesn't have a high score board, so if you want your final score, you have to grab it on the way down the final web. Mine was 2,683,356. You can see it here:    • PS1 Tempest 2000 - Full Playthrough (...
