I purchased a PS2 on release back in 2000 solely to play MGS2 after which I sold it, in retrospect I wish I hadn't after discovering it has a great library of class shoot 'em ups. Here's 10 I've been playing, they all play spot on with the PCSX2 emu, and look fantastic with the resolution boosted! There's some great arcade ports, 2 sublime versions of Gradius and R-Type and a few bullet hell style....I've boosted the res to 2K (on applicable games*) I had to tweak each game individually in the emu but most run on the Direct3D11 renderer, Bilinear Filtering, Anisotropic Filtering and other hacks.
