(Ps2) Soul Calibur 3 - Standard Character Weapons
131Nearly all Standard character weapons. I am missing a few of "the ancient" weapons. Might be some other name weapon but all of the missing ones are in the last slot, which is mostly reserved for "the ancient'.
After the first weapon each has special abilities tied to them like increased power, reduce the ring outs, even gain health back when you hit an opponent. In special mode they can be used with the abilites, in arcade and other modes they are just different, maybe the longer ones are an advantage there though. You can use them in all modes, its just some you can't use them with the special abilites working.
Part 2 has all Bonus Character and Custom Character weapons, and all Bonus Characters (as far as I know).
There is one character from SC2 that is in this game but I haven't unlocked him yet if he is playable, which he should be, but there is no slot for him in the Standard Character squares. Only place for him is in Bonus Characters, and there are no available (locked) weapons to purchase for him. I forget his name, in SC2 he was big like Astaroth, but in SC3 he is smaller and uses a lance.
