Hey everyone! In this video, I show you how to defeat colossus VI (Barba) in the hard time attack mode for Shadow of the Colossus (PS3).

The strategy for Barba is to use the first wall to jump onto Barba's beard as Barba is trying to crush you with it's fist. A cutscene will play here of Barba smashing the first wall but as long as you are holding the grab button during it, you will stay on Barba's beard. From the beard, climb up to the first weak point.

The first weak point can be troublesome if you are not in the right spot. The best place to be is right as you get to the weak point. Kind of between the spine and the weak point. Once there, keep using full power stabs to destroy it. Be sure to interrupt Barba's haed throwback animation with a stab.

The next is the back weak point, this weak point can be very difficult. To get there, stay near the last spine piece and Barba will do the full body shake animation. Count 5/6 shakes and as the animation is ending, run to the weak point and grab the fur near it then quickly do a stab (at least, half power). From this point, whenever you see Barba about to move stab him (doesn't matter the power). Keep doing this until the weak point is gone. If you need to refill stamina, allow Barba to do the full body shake and as soon as the animation starts, let go of the grab button and start jumping up Barba's back until you are on top of him.

The hand weak point is tricky in that Wander can not stay grabbed onto it. So run to the temple where Wander must hide from Barba to get it to lower it's head. When it does, run and jump onto the hand with the weak point and instantly do a full power stab then jump off and repeat this process until Barba is defeated. It takes 3 full power stabs to destroy.
